how do i get a music URL for myspace with a track on my computer?

i have a track saved on my computer, is there anyway i can get it to play in the background of my myspace? i think i need the music url or something, but how do i do that?

1. The only way that this would be possible for you is if your computer is open to the net, AND you have a web server running on it, or some type of streaming media server, AND you have either a static IP address from your internet provider, or one of the redirector services such as DYNDNS. Realize that this opens all sorts of holes and access to your computer from ANYONE on the internet. If you just want people to be able to access an mp3, you need to upload it to one of the free file storage sites, or create a site at geocities or AOL and upload it there and link to it from myspace.
2. right click it and then click properties and the you copy the url (it starts with HTTP:// ) make sure when you high light it to pull down across the url to make sure you get the hole url hope this helps
3. play it on your media player or whatever then click on the song with the right click. go down to properties copy the url and then embed it on your page. <embed="whatever it is u copy"> make sure add the song name too after the song type. i think that sould work. after that u could add loop play or autostart="false or true" well i'm not gonna get to detailed check if it works first lol
4. you might have to go to a music genorator to get the code but you can just browse and find the file and it should be there.
